YES event picture

📍Our journey continued with a visit to JTC Launchpad @ One-North with Social Collider, where we explored the cutting-edge sustainability innovation hub. During the tour, we had the opportunity to visit past YSE alumni and engage in a workshop hosted by PlasticEVO focused on plastic recycling, using 3D pens to create objects from upcycled filament.

📍We then traveled to The Royal Bistro @ NUS for lunch with YSE alumni trainers, Louis and Kathy, enjoying a delightful meal and great conversations. The afternoon was spent at the National University Singapore (NUS), Chua Thian Poh Community Leadership Centre (CTPCLC), where we learned about community development, leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We also had a tour of UTown®, NUS's vibrant educational hub.

📍Dinner was at The Dim Sum Place, followed by daily reflections and a walk around Kampong Glam with the SIF team. Kampong Glam, once a hub for the Malay Muslim community in the 1800s, is now a melting pot of vibrant cultures, majestic cultural buildings, eye-popping street art, a myriad of restaurants and bars, and trendy shops.
