Chalatex Wins 2nd Prize at the 2nd China-ASEAN Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

Chalatex is honored to announce that we were awarded the 2nd Prize at the 2nd China-ASEAN Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (CAIEC) during the official awarding ceremony held on September 23, 2024, in China.

This prestigious competition brought together innovative startups and entrepreneurs from ASEAN countries, China, Japan, and Korea, creating a truly international platform for showcasing cutting-edge solutions across multiple sectors.

The China-ASEAN Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is designed to strengthen collaboration, innovation exchange, and entrepreneurial development across the region. It provides startups with the opportunity to present their solutions to investors, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovation ecosystems.

Receiving the 2nd Prize at such a high-level competition reflects strong recognition of Chalatex’s work in advancing smart agriculture and irrigation technology tailored to real challenges faced by farmers in Cambodia and the wider region.

Showcasing CAM-Science

At the competition, Chalatex presented its CAM-Science smart irrigation system, highlighting how data-driven and IoT-enabled solutions can improve water efficiency, reduce operational costs, and support climate-resilient agriculture.

The judges and participants showed strong interest in how CAM-Science combines practical field deployment, farmer-centric design, and scalable technology to address agricultural productivity and sustainability challenges.
