Job Summary

The Agri-Business Sales Officer acts as the bridge between Chalatex technology and the farmers who need it. You will not just sell a product; you will educate farmers on how smart irrigation saves them money on diesel and labor. This role involves frequent travel to provinces to conduct demos and meet with agricultural cooperatives.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and approach potential clients (commercial farms, NGOs, and cooperatives).
Conduct product demonstrations in the field to showcase the benefits of ChalatFarm systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the agriculture sector.
Achieve monthly sales targets for Smart Controllers and Nethouse installations.
Collect customer feedback and pain points to report back to the engineering team.
Assist customers with the initial setup and registration of the mobile application.
Prepare sales reports and market analysis for the management team.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Marketing, or General Management.
1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture or machinery sector.
Strong willingness to travel to rural provinces (approx. 50% travel).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Khmer.
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to farmers.
Valid driving license and ability to drive to project sites.

Nice to Have

Existing network with agricultural cooperatives or NGOs in Cambodia.
Basic understanding of irrigation systems or farming cycles.
Good command of English for internal reporting.
